KINGDOM’S TEARS DATE OF RELEASE AND PLATFORMS
The Kingdom:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.debuted on May 12, 2023. The fact that this Nintendo-developed game is Switch-exclusive makes perfect sense.
Nintendo delayed the release of Tears of the Kingdom from 2022 to 2023 in March of that year, from its initial scheduled release date of 2022. Fans were informed by series director Eiji Aonuma that the reason behind this was to “extend out development time a bit.” You may now purchase the game in shops and on the internet all across the globe.

KINGDOM’S TEARS CONTENT AND STORY
Before the release of Tears of the Kingdom, very little was known regarding the plot. After Breath of the Wild, Link, and Zelda go on a quest to uncover the truth behind a mysterious plague. The newest video makes it clear that something goes wrong with this study. Ganon comes back to life, and Link has to save the day.
That same year, Eiji Aonuma, the director of the Zelda games, told IGN that the game would be darker than Breath of the Wild and “a little darker” than Majora’s Mask.
This is backed up by trailers that show what seems to be Ganondorf’s dead body being brought back to life by an inanimate hand and what looks like images from 2006’s Twilight Princess, in which Hyrule was turned into a dark shadow realm in response to The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, which was much happier and more cartoonish. Still, it won’t be all bad news, at least artistically. New clips show that we’ll fly and explore among the clouds.
Tears of the Kingdom will have much to do with time, evident since the first video (which you can watch above). The music and some scenes in the reveal video look like they are played backward. This has been shown repeatedly in new clips so that time travel may play a role in Tears of the Kingdom. You won’t know much about the game when you start.
KINGDOM’S TEARS A GAMEPLAY
We’ve seen and played enough of the game to know it will use many of the same features as Breath of the Wild. The sequel should be different, though, because it has a lot of new skills.
It was shown off Fuse, a feature that lets players join things in the open world. Fusing a branch into a rock made a hammer and fusing a monster eye into a normal arrow made tracking versions. Then there’s the time when a puffball mushroom is joined to a shield. When an enemy hit this, it made a big cloud of smoke that let Link sneak up on them and kill them.
Another new skill that lets you glue things together is Ultra hand, which was shown off. In the video, Link builds a homemade raft out of three big logs stuck together with this. After that, a fan is added to make it look like a real sailing ship. This is a way to glue things together in the wild to make new tools, like cars and flying machines. It is clear that in Tears of the Kingdom, you can make anything you can think of.
When we talk about the sky, Tears of the Kingdom will have many sky places to explore. These are flying lands that have enemies and small puzzles on them. Link uses the Recall power to get to an island in the sky. Remembers the direction of an object’s progress, such as a falling rock. Link rides the rock as it falls backward and climbs before sailing to Sky Island Sky Island.
Last is Ascend, a move we’ve seen in the trailers before. You can use it to go through a roof and get to the top level of a room. In this way, caves can be used to climb mountains quickly. You can use Ascend on any roof with a surface facing the outside world. Link used the new flying controls to jump off of a sky island when he was done exploring it. Get to the ground. It looks like this is a great way to find new places.
