What should BioShock 4 bring?
As of December 2019, we only know a little about BioShock 4, even though it was mentioned more than four years ago. Very little has been officially confirmed. It’s been over ten years since the last game, which is a shame because this is one of the most exciting and well-reviewed series ever.
We know that a new company called Cloud Chamber is making it, and 2K Games is putting it out. We’re also still determining where the game will take place, how it will be played, what devices it will be available on, and other things.
Although we could say that we “expect” to hear something soon, the fact that it’s been four years since the reveal and that this is one of the most-anticipated games in development makes us hope that we hear something soon.
But while we wait for more information about BioShock 4, here is what we know about it so far, along with some theories about how it’s being made. This page will be changed when new information comes in.
BIO SHOCK 4 PLATFORMS
It’s exciting to think about We’re looking forward to playing the next BioShock game, but we need to know when. When developer 2K Games officially announced a new BioShock game in 2019, they said So far, work has already begun on the following game. The game was said to be being made “for the next several years” here.
That wasn’t good news, but it did help us figure out when BioShock 4 would finally come out. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S have come out, and the Xbox One and PS4 are no longer used. We are very sure that because of this, that BioShock 4 will only be available on the current generation and not on any other generation. Making the game work on old platforms doesn’t seem likely, even if the game was still set to come out in 2024. In fact, it might even stop anyone from trying.
PLAYING GAMES AND SETTING UP THE BIOSHOCK 4
When we think about how BioShock 4 is played and where it takes place, we’re jumping into a lot of guesswork and holding on to thin air. However, there have been hints that we could follow up on (read: “cling to”) to learn more about both of these things.
First, let’s talk about BioShock 4 games that might come out. You can no longer see or read this official 2K press statement 2019. the news that went with it that the next BioShock game was being made suggest it would be first-person again. “We can’t wait to see where it’s [BioShock’s] powerful story and iconic first-person shooter gameplay head in the future with our new studio team at Cloud Chamber leading the charge,” This is what David Ismailer , President of 2K, said. The first-person form will stay.
There was a lot of talk at the end of 2021 that BioShock 4 would take place in a familiar period. BioShock 4 was said to be set in the 1960s in a city in Antarctica called “Borealis.” The story would be linked to the other games in the series. At the time, some news outlets said these comments aligned with what their sources told them. But there has yet to be an official word or proof of them.
Going further back, in 2021, many people thought that BioShock 4 would be an open-world game because job ads indicated that the setting would be significant and busy. To repeat it, that has never been talked about officially.

Chamber is the company working on BioShock 4, but who is in charge of development?
We know a few of the people involved, and below is our solution to the question in the form of Ken Levin. Kelley Gilmore runs the business. He used to work at Firaxis Games and is a very skilled engineer. In a chat with our sister site, Games Radar+, Gilmore did say that the development team does have “BioShock DNA.” This is because some group members have worked on other BioShock games.
INVOLVEMENT OF KEN LEVINE
Much has been said about whether or not Ken Levine is working on BioShock 4.. He created the series most closely linked to the BioShock games.
This question has a short and clear answer: no. The person who made There is no longer any link between the shows and the games or 2K., which owns the IP, so they will have nothing to do with BioShock 4. Ken Levine has set up his own business and is working on Judas, his next game.

BIOSHOCK 4 GETS A STORY IDEA FROM GHOST OF TSUSHIMA.
Liz Albl, who was in charge of the stories for Far Cry 4 and Ghost of Tsushima, saidShe was leaving 2K Games to work on the BioShock 4 story at 2K Cloud Chamber (opens in new tab).. We just learned this new thing about how the game is being made.
MORE JOB ADS SAY THE NEXT BIOSHOCK WILL BE AN OPEN-WORLD GAME.
New job postings and juicy reports say Cloud Chamber will play BioShock differently this time. The company seeks someone “who can weave powerful, character-driven stories in an open-world setting.”
The next BioShock game will have an “urban crowd system” with a “systemic tribal ecology” and a “sometimes hostile AI” to support it, according to a different job posting. “Push the envelope of what is possible with interactive crowd systems” will be the winner’s job.
